Join CAN in helping to mobilize immigrant leaders for the May 1st National Day of Action in Washington, DC. May 1 - known by many as May Day - is widely regarded as international workers’ day. This May Day, more than 1,000 immigrants and allies will march and rally in the nation’s capitol to demand that President Biden take immediate executive action to provide relief to millions of immigrant workers and families and ensure that immigrants are treated with dignity by ending a harsh system of immigration enforcement that has relied far too heavily on criminalization and detention of immigrants and asylum seekers. After 1 year of waiting for Congress to legislate a path to citizenship for all 11 million, our families can’t wait any longer.
