About the Event

On the evening before the election, let us gather along DC's “corridor of faith,” a 6.5-mile thoroughfare lined with nearly 50 faith communities. This vigil is an opportunity for individuals and families of all ages to unite and shine a light of hope, solidarity, democracy and peace on this pivotal night.

Please arrive at your house of worship or any convenient location along 16th Street by 5:30 PM. CAN supporters are encouraged to join our partner, The Festival Center, on 16th between Harvard and Irving Streets.

Please bring candles (real or battery-operated), lanterns, flashlights, or cell phones. Feel free to create signs with positive messages of hope and democracy, ensuring they remain respectful and non-partisan.
